12 Days on Sichuan Tibet Highway G318 Classic Tour

Depart Chengdu and ride through mountain valleys to Siguniang Mountain. Visit the ruins of Yingxiu and enjoy the alpine scenery before arriving in Danba, a picturesque Tibetan village known for its ancient watchtowers.

Ride through Jiaju Tibetan Village and cross Zheduo Mountain Pass (4,298m). Arrive at Xinduqiao, known as “the paradise of photographers,” surrounded by alpine meadows and colorful prayer flags.

Ride across the vast Litang Plateau and the legendary “18 Bends of Heaven Road.” Pass the snow-capped Kazila Mountain before descending to Batang — a charming Tibetan border town.

Cross the Jinsha River Bridge — the gateway to Tibet. Ride up to Dongda Mountain Pass (5,100m) and descend through spectacular valleys to Zogong.

Ride one of G318’s most famous sections — the 72 Turns of Nujiang. Continue to Ranwu Lake and the Midui Glacier, surrounded by snow peaks and turquoise waters. Overnight in Bomi.

Ride through the legendary Tongmai Highway and lush Lulang Forest. From Sejila Pass (4,700m), catch breathtaking views of Mt. Namjagbarwa — one of Tibet’s most sacred peaks.

Ride along the crystal waters of Basum Lake, visit Cuozong Monastery, and cross Mila Mountain Pass (5,000m). Arrive in Lhasa at sunset — a triumphant moment for every rider.

Explore Lhasa — Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and Sera Monastery. Enjoy your final days in the spiritual heart of Tibet before heading home.

The itinerary ends on the 12th day, or arrangements for return transportation can be made.
