Gateway to the West (Day 1–3)
Route: Chengdu → Danba → Xinduqiao / Litang Begin your journey from Chengdu and drive deep into Western Sichuan. Pass through river valleys, mountain passes, and Tibetan villages as the landscape shifts from lush green to high-altitude wilderness.
Over the Mountains (Day 4–5)
Litang → Batang → Mangkang → Zuogong → Baxiu This section is one of the most thrilling parts of the G318 route. You’ll cross several mountain passes above 4,000 m and witness the dramatic transformation of landscapes and climates.
Forests, Glaciers & Lakes of Eastern Tibet (Day 6–8)
Baxiu → Ranwu Lake → Bomi → Nyingchi → Basong Tso → Lhasa From glaciers and snow peaks to alpine forests and turquoise lakes, this stage reveals the most breathtaking natural diversity of the whole route.
The Holy City Experience (Day 9–12)
